What does your day-to-day look like as a Partnerships Manager?
Ally: My day-to-day consists of working directly with our partners and helping them with any requests they may have. The Partnerships team fields requests and questions related to matters such as briefing content, distribution list maintenance, revenue, briefing design, special editions, and so much more. Whatever you need, we are here to help!
How have your past roles in marketing and client services shaped the way you approach your current work?
Ally: I’ve worked both in-house and in agency settings, which I think has given me the perspective of both being a client and a team member working on deliverables. I’m eager to approach all projects, big and small, with a results-oriented attitude and with partner satisfaction as top priorities. Additionally, my experience in these fields has allowed me to work with many types of people, which always comes in handy for developing interpersonal relationships.
From your perspective, how does BulletinHealthcare provide value to partners?
Ally: A huge benefit that BulletinHealthcare offers is attentiveness and innovation. Our team has a lot to offer because we are committed to building successful relationships and evolving with associations. In this past year, we’ve seen partners ask for the addition of multimedia to their briefings and our team has successfully integrated this into the briefings – both design-wise and content-wise. Across departments, we consistently prove ourselves to be a solution-minded organization, which I think sets us apart.
Are there any new trends or shifts in healthcare that associations are bringing to your attention?
Ally: The inclusion of multimedia in the briefings has been something that we’ve been getting questions about across our partners. This is something that the Partnerships team has been working closely with some of our partners on and have had success in. It’s been a great way to diversify some of our briefings and a great opportunity to boost reader engagement.
What challenges do you see in healthcare, and how can our partnerships help overcome them?
Ally: I think one of the biggest threats to the healthcare industry is misinformation and the rapid spread of it. It can be paralyzing both for physicians and for patients, because it greatly impacts the way decisions are made regarding individual healthcare. This is why a service, like our briefings, is valuable. They provide accessible, easy to digest summaries of real news so that associations can keep their members informed.
How do you stay up to date on the latest industry trends and developments?
Ally: LinkedIn has been a very valuable resource in staying up to date on industry trends. Following medical news outlets and other leaders in the healthcare industry allows for constant exposure to any breaking news or developments that could be useful to our partners.
When you’re off the clock, how do you like to spend your time? Any favorite hobbies or interests?
Ally: Outside of work, I love to spend time traveling, listening to music, doing yoga, and I’ve gotten into pottery this past year! I just moved to Chicago so exploring the different neighborhoods has also been an exciting addition to my extracurriculars.
What’s one surprising or little-known fact about you?
Ally: When my friends got engaged, we got to be the Grand Marshals of the parade at Magic Kingdom in Disney World!
