BulletinHealthcare provides members of certain professional associations (each a “Sponsoring Association”) with daily news briefings delivered via email. This privacy statement covers the collection and use of personal information through the use of this website as well as interaction with the email briefings. BulletinHealthcare values and respects the privacy and personal information of its customers, and commits itself to following the industry’s prevailing best practices for the distribution of high quality email news products.
Information Collection and Use
BulletinHealthcare does not solicit information directly from customers, but receives names, email addresses, and other potentially personally identifiable information directly from Sponsoring Associations in strict observance of the rules set by those organizations. BulletinHealthcare also logs and monitors general usage of this site, the daily news briefings, and other emails BulletinHealthcare may send, including open rates, clicks and other common industry standard information, for the purpose of better understanding the use and success of the service.
This information may be collected and reported (i) internally within BulletinHealthcare, (ii) to a Sponsoring Association, (iii) to third parties, such as advertisers, in the aggregate and without any personally identifiable information, and (iv) to third parties at the individual level only if permitted by agreement between BulletinHealthcare and the recipient’s Sponsoring Association.
Opt-Out / Account Status
Each email that is sent includes a link to a site at which recipients may unsubscribe from the email recipient list. In addition, BulletinHealthcare monitors responses from customers who make requests by email or telephone. Removal requests may be sent directly to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling: (703) 483-6100. When requesting to unsubscribe, please provide your name, email address (the address at which you receive the email service), and the name of the association you belong to. When requesting to unsubscribe via the unsubscribe website link, you may be asked to provide information about why you are unsubscribing; this information is strictly optional. BulletinHealthcare may also use information provided by you to notify you of changes to your account, including address changes, opt-outs, and other changes.
Polls and Surveys
BulletinHealthcare recipients may receive polls and surveys from time to time. Your participation is strictly optional, and all survey data will be provided to the Sponsoring Association or third parties, such as advertisers, in accordance with the agreement between the Sponsoring Association and BulletinHealthcare.
Third Party Advertisers and Advertisements
‘Cookies’ are small files stored on the customers’ browsers and are commonly used by most websites for tracking, analysis and functionality. This site does not require any usage of cookies and turning them off does not compromise the functionality.
BulletinHealthcare uses technology to protect members’ information from loss, misuse or alteration. This information will only be shared as specified herein or as otherwise required by law.
